Mutual insurance association, The Shipowners’ Club moved from a cellular office environment in their Minories building to a new, largely open-plan space in Whitechapel.

Their new home in the recently refurbished White Chapel Building reflects their branding and creates a modern workspace for the company to attract and retain talent.

Wellbeing and ergonomic comfort has been prioritised, with height adjustable workstations installed throughout. Sketch worked with the team to trial many task chairs before the final selection was made.

Breakout spaces were created with a library area to encourage different work styles to be embraced. The IT set up was adapted, with double computer monitors and screen arms installed. The boardroom is now a flexible space with flip tables and sliding wall, providing a great client-facing meeting area.
