16,500 sq ft
70 St Mary Axe
At Sketch Studios, we thrive on turning complex relocations into seamless transitions. Our recent relocation project within 70 St Mary Axe, informally known as "The Can of Ham," showcases our dedication to excellence in move management.
Our client, a dynamic and expanding organisation, required a modern headquarters to consolidate their existing Blackfriars and London Bridge spaces. The challenge was to create a state-of-the-art facility within their new 16,500 sq ft home at 70 St Mary Axe. Sketch Studios was entrusted with the responsibility of orchestrating this significant move.
Relocating within an iconic location like 70 St Mary Axe demanded precision and adherence to strict regulations. Our team of experts dismantled and transferred a remarkable 150 workstations over a meticulous two-week period. This ensured that the transition was not only efficient but also fully compliant with the unique requirements of this landmark building.
In today's tech-driven world, IT infrastructure is at the heart of every organisation. Sketch Studios meticulously decommissioned and recommissioned all IT equipment, guaranteeing a smooth continuation of operations. Additionally, we provided secure storage for brand new IT equipment for nine weeks while the design and fit-out of the new space were underway.
We understand the value of personal belongings to employees. As part of our relocation services, we took the utmost care in packing, archiving, and moving each employee's personal items to their new workspace.
At Sketch Studios, we pride ourselves on our meticulous planning and attention to detail. Our professional team facilitates every stage of the move, whether it's dismantling intricate tech systems, rebuilding large phone booths, or reassembling board meeting tables. We execute each task with precision and care, leaving no room for rush or oversight.
